Tugade-Watson's Olympic Run

Regine Tugade-Watson represented Guam in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in the Women's 100-meters Preliminary Round. Tugade-Watson ran a Season's Best time of 12.17 seconds and finished 4th in her Heat and 13 out of 27 overall competitors in the preliminary round.
"Thank you. Si yu’os ma’åse and Maraming salamat. The overwhelming amount of love and support I receive from my family, my friends, our island, and sister islands has shown that none of my success is solely mine, it is shared between all of us. I hope I made you proud, Guam," said Tugade-Watson.
This is Regine's second consecutive Olympic Games. She represented Guam at 2016 Rio Olympics, where she ran the Women's 100-meters in a time of 12.52 seconds.
"Special thank you to GNOC and GTFA for nominating, selecting, and supporting me throughout my journey. I am extremely humbled and honored just to be given the opportunity, and only hope to continue further elevating the competitive level of athletics on island."
