Nathan Castro to Represent Guam at the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships

Guam Track and Field Association announces that Nathan Castro has been selected to represent Guam at the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships in Cali, Colombia. He will compete in the 100 meters Heats on August 1, 2022 at 12:00 PM COT (August 2, 2022 at 3:00 AM, ChST).
Castro holds a personal best of 11.47 seconds in the 100 meters, which he set last month at the Northern Marianas Pacific Mini Games 2022 in Saipan. Castro is a resident of Yona and is a 2022 graduate of George Washington High School.
The World Athletics U20 Championships, also known as the World Junior Championships, will be held from August 1st to 6th, 2022 at the Estadio Olímpico Pascual Guerrero in Cali, Colombia. It will feature more than 1,500 athletes qualifying as juniors (born no earlier than January 1st, 2003) from around the world.
