Castro Runs Personal Best at 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships

Nathan Castro ran a big personal best in the men's 100-meters with a time of 11.35 seconds at the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships in Cali, Colombia. Castro competed in 100-meters Heats on August 1, 2022 and improved his previous personal best of 11.47 seconds set at the 2022 Northern Marianas Pacific Mini Games in Saipan in June. Castro is a 400 -meter specialist but his new time now ranks him on top of the men's under-20 100-meter performances from Guam this year.

Castro is a resident of Yona and is a 2022 graduate of George Washington High School.
